Each represent the inspiration for "Refraction, Reflection, Rejuvenation" installation
Refraction, Reflection, Rejuvenation, 2025 is an installation that values a natural phenomenon which each of us can experience, when we take the time to acknowledge it – an everyday sunset. Twenty-four 16” circular works each represents a particular day and time with the same vista repeated in each work. Sheets of hand-painted Tyvek were cut by hand length wise into 1/16" strands. The strands were knotted together in the order in which they were cut and knitted together to make a 15” x 5 foot length of ‘material’. The material was then gathered into a circular shape and mounted.
